Using Oracle Cloud Marketplace

As a Marketplace consumer, you can:

  • Filter offerings by category, pricing model, install type or compatibility with your existing OCI resources.
  • Read detailed product descriptions, usage instructions, and user reviews to make informed decisions.

  • Access vendor-provided support and documentation for purchased solutions.
As a Marketplace partner, you can:

Accessing Oracle Cloud Marketplace

You can access Oracle Cloud Marketplace from the OCI Console or from public Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

Oracle Cloud Marketplace on the OCI Console: This instance of the Marketplace is integrated directly into the OCI Console, allowing you to browse, purchase, and deploy solutions without leaving your OCI environment. It offers a seamless experience for discovering and implementing cloud solutions that work with your existing OCI resources.

Public Oracle Cloud Marketplace: The public instance of the Oracle Cloud Marketplace is accessible without requiring an OCI account login. This version allows potential customers to explore available solutions before committing to Oracle Cloud. It also serves as a marketing platform for partners to showcase their offerings to a wider audience.

Definitions

This documentation refers to entities and roles of Customer-Consumer and Partner-Publisher. The definition of these terms are as follows:
  • Customer is the entity transacting through Oracle for the entitlement for a listing.
  • Consumer is the role or person that is deploying software through Marketplace.
  • Partner is the entity that had signed agreements with Oracle and receive payment for transactions.
  • Publisher is the role that publishes listings to make them available to customers.
