Editing a Budget Alert Rule

Edit an alert rule for a budget in Billing and Cost Management.

    1. On the Budgets list page, select the budget that contains the budget alert rule that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the budget, see Listing Budgets.

      The budget details page opens. The Budget Alert Rules section displays the budget alert rules.

    2. From the Actions menu (Actions Menu) for the alert rule, select View/Edit.

      The View/Edit Budget Alert Rule panel opens.

    3. Edit the values for the rule. For field descriptions, see Creating a Budget Alert Rule.

    4. Select Save Changes.

  • Use the oci budgets alert-rule update command and required parameters to create a budget:

    oci budgets alert-rule update --alert-rule-id alert_rule_ocid --budget-id budget-ocid [OPTIONS]
