Editing a Budget Alert Rule
Edit an alert rule for a budget in Billing and Cost Management.
- Open the navigation menu and click Billing & Cost Management. Under Cost Management, click Budgets.
- On the Budgets page, select the budget scope, if necessary.

Click the name of the budget whose alert rule you want to edit.
On the budget details page, the Budget Alert Rules section displays the budget alert rules.

Select View/Edit from the
to the right side of the alert rule that you want to edit. -
In the View/Edit Budget Alert Rule dialog box, edit the values for the rule. For field descriptions, see Creating a Budget Alert Rule.

Click Save Changes.
Use the oci budgets alert-rule update command and required parameters to create a budget:
oci budgets alert-rule update --alert-rule-id alert_rule_ocid --budget-id budget-ocid [OPTIONS]

Run the UpdateAlertRule operation to edit a budget alert rule.
