Configuring Cluster Add-ons
Find out about configuring cluster add-ons in clusters you create using Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
Note
You can only configure cluster add-ons when using enhanced clusters. See Working with Enhanced Clusters and Basic Clusters.

Cluster add-ons are software tools that support and extend the functionality of Kubernetes clusters. Some cluster add-ons are essential for a cluster to operate correctly (such as the CoreDNS add-on, the flannel or OCI VCN-Native Pod Networking CNI plugin add-on, and the kube-proxy add-on). Other cluster add-ons are optional components, and extend core Kubernetes functionality to improve cluster manageability and performance (such as the Kubernetes Dashboard).
