Deleting a Transfer Package

Delete a transfer package from a disk import transfer job.

Typically, you would delete a transfer package early in the transfer process and before you create its associated transfer disk. You initiated the transfer job and package, but have changed your mind. If you delete a transfer package later in the transfer process, you must first detach the associated transfer disk.

Note

You cannot delete a transfer package once the package has been shipped to Oracle.

Using the Console

  1. Open the navigation menu and click Migration & Disaster Recovery. Under Data Transfer, click Imports. The Transfer Jobs page appears.

  2. Choose a Compartment you have permission to work in under List scope. All transfer jobs in that compartment are listed in tabular form.

  3. Click the transfer job whose transfer package you want to delete. The transfer job's Details page appears.

  4. Click Transfer Packages under Resources. The Transfer Packages page appears. All transfer packages are listed in tabular form.

  5. Click the transfer package you want to cancel. The transfer package's Details page appears.

  6. Click Cancel Transfer Package.

  7. Confirm the cancellation.
