Tagging a Governance Rule at Creation

Describes how to add metadata to a governance rule when you first create one. You can define keys and values, and associate them with resources.

Using the Console

  1. Open the navigation menu and click Governance & Administration. Under Organization Management, click Governance Rules.
  2. Click Create rule.
  3. Following the steps in the Console instructions in Adding Governance to Tenancies to create a governance rule.
  4. In the Create rule panel, click Show advanced options. The advanced options appear.
  5. Complete the following. See Overview of Tagging for descriptions of these fields.

    • Tag namespace

    • Tag key

    • Tag value

    Click Add tag to add another tag. Click X to remove the associated tag.
