Viewing Artifacts

Learn how to view the image or stack listing artifacts in Partner Portal.

Viewing Artifact Details

To view details about an artifact, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Action menu Action Menu Icon next to the artifact and then select Details.
  2. In the Artifact Details page, for OCI Compute image artifacts, the details such as Artifact Name, Artifact Type, Tenancy Name, Compartment OCID, Source Image OCID, Compatible Shapes, Source Region, Published Image OCID, Replicated Region(s), Status, Validation Results, and Created Date are displayed.

    For Terraform template artifacts, the details such as Artifact Name, Artifact Type, File Name, Status, and Created Date are displayed.

Note

  • Replicated Region(s) field is a read-only field. The replicated regions are displayed when a listing to which this artifact is associated is published. The list of replicated regions indicate that the listing is installable in these regions in the OCI Console.
  • Use the Published Image OCID to publish a stack listing that refers to this image.

Viewing Artifact Status

To view artifact status, follow these steps:
  1. Sign in to Partner Portal.
  2. Click the Artifacts icon Artifacts (Artifacts). The Artifacts page displays information such as artifact name and other details related to the artifacts.
  3. Select an artifact, click the Action menu Action next to the artifact, and then click Details. The Artifact Details page displays several details for OCI Compute Image artifacts, such as Artifact Name, Artifact Type, Tenancy Name, Compartment OCID, Source Image OCID, Compatible Shapes, Source Region, Published Image OCID, Replicated Region(s), Status, Validation Results, and Created Date.
    Note

    Replicated Region(s) field is a read-only field. The replicated regions are displayed when a listing to which this artifact is associated is published. The list of replicated regions indicate that the listing is installable in these regions in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Console.
  4. In the Package Status section, note down the status of the artifact. The artifact can be in one of the following states.
    • In Progress: The image validation is in progress. When you create an artifact for an image listing, Oracle Cloud Marketplace validates if the Compute image that you have selected for the listing meets the image guidelines. It could take up to six hours to complete the process of validation. After the validation is complete, the status of the artifact changes to either Available or Unavailable.
    • Available: The image validation was completed successfully.
    • Unavailable: The OCI Compute image that you have selected for the listing doesn't meet the image guidelines.
  5. If the artifact status is in Unavailable status, click View Details. The error code and error details are displayed. Each error code corresponds to a mandatory or recommended image guideline. For details about the error, see the error code reference table at Guidelines for Images to identify the issues. After taking the corrective actions, create a new artifact. You can't update the Compute image of an existing artifact.

Searching, Filtering, or Sorting Artifacts

By default, the Artifacts page displays all your artifacts and sorts them by the date created, placing the newest artifact at the top of the list. To search, filter, or sort artifacts, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to Partner Portal.
  2. Click the Artifacts icon Artifacts. The Artifacts page displays information such as artifact name and other details related to the artifacts.
  3. Enter the artifact name in the text box at the top of the Artifacts page and click Search Search.
  4. Click Filter to select the artifacts you want to display. You can show all artifacts (default value), show only artifacts of Terraform Template type, or show only artifacts of OCI Compute Image type. You can also filter the artifacts by selecting one or more status names to show only artifacts with the selected status such as Available, Unavailable, or In Progress.
  5. Click Sort by to change the order of the artifacts. You can sort by recent artifacts or name.
