Configuring Private Networks
You can configure Anomaly Detection to access data sources hosted in private networks.
By configuring data OCI to access a private network, you can:
- Connect to OCI data sources that are only accessible privately.
- Connect to on-premises data sources that are connected to an OCI Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) using Site-to-Site VPN or FastConnect.

You can access on-premises or private data sources in Anomaly Detection using their Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). The FQDN must have an A record in the configured DNS server and must not be an Oracle reserved public domain, such as

.To enable data assets to access a private network, you must:
- Create a private endpoint for your data asset.
- Use the private endpoint when you create a data asset.
Ensure that you have created the required Anomaly Detection service policies.
