Configuring an OCI HDFS Connector

  1. To configure the HDFS connector, in a terminal run the following command. The passphrase option is optional.
    dcli bds-oss-admin --am_password='<example-password>' \
    --am_username='admin' \
    --hostname='https://objectstorage.us-ashburn-1.oraclecloud.com' \
    --tenancy='ocid1.tenancy.oc1..<unique-ID>' \
    --user='ocid1.user.oc1..<unique-ID>' \
    --fingerprint='32:c0:0c:a8:8e:a9:dd:fc:de:d1:ed:70:cb:9c:8e:05' \
    --local-key-file='$HOME/oci/<your-rsa-key-name>.pem' \
    --compartment='ocid1.tenancy.oc1..<unique-ID>' \
    --passphrase='test'
  2. Open Apache Ambari console.
  3. Restart any components that are listed as stale.
