Log Level

Manage Big Data Service log levels through ODH Utilities.

Manage the log level through Ambari ODH Utilities for easier updates to log level. For example, to enable DEBUG level for all services or any specific services.

Customizing Log Level

You can manage Big Data Service log levels for easier updates through Apache Ambari ODH Utilities.

Note

Log Level can be overwritten for a particular service by using the service log level configuration.
  1. Access Apache Ambari.
  2. From the side toolbar, under Services click ODH Utilities.
  3. Click the Configs tab, and then select ODH LOGGER CONFIG .
  4. Update required configurations values.
    Configuration Default Details
    Log Level INFO 
    Default Log level for all the installed components

  5. Click Save.
  6. Click the Services '...' icon, and then click Restart all required.
