Deleting a Data Asset

Delete a data asset in Data Catalog.

When you delete a data asset, all the harvested data entities or attributes in the data asset are deleted. All the jobs and schedules associated with the data assets are also deleted.

    1. On the Data assets page, click the data asset that you want to delete.
    2. On the details page of the data asset, click Delete.
    3. To confirm the data asset deletion, in the Delete Data Asset dialog box, type Delete and then click Delete.

  • Use the delete command and required parameters to delete a data asset:

    oci data-catalog data-asset delete [OPTIONS]
