Getting a Runbook's Details

Get the details of a runbook in Fleet Application Management.

    1. Open the navigation menu and click Observability & Management. Under Fleet Application Management, click Actions and Controls.
    2. On the Runbooks tab, all runbooks are displayed.
      Tip

      Switch on the Show Oracle Defined Runbooks toggle to display runbooks associated with Oracle-defined products and vice versa.
    3. On the Runbooks tab, click the name of the runbook.
      Tip

      To find a runbook by name, enter its name in the Search field. You can also search by runbook type, whether it belongs to a product or product stack.

      The details page for the runbook displays the runbook information and the runbook's lifecycle operation tasks. For example, in the Oracle Database runbook, the streamline task can be patching the database. For the Oracle WebLogic runbook, the streamline tasks can be metadata discovery, file system check, Oracle WebLogic pre-health check, and so on.

      The tasks that are local to a runbook or common across various runbooks are marked as Shared. See Getting a Runbook Task's Details.

  • Use the oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-runbooks runbook get command and required parameters to get details of a runbook:

    oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-runbooks runbook get [OPTIONS]
