Updating a Runbook

Update a custom runbook in Fleet Application Management.

Tip

You can update a custom runbook only if it's in the draft state and not published. The status of a custom runbook in the draft state is Inactive.
    1. Open the navigation menu and click Observability & Management. Under Fleet Application Management, click Actions and Controls.
    2. On the Runbooks tab, click the Actions menu (Actions Menu) to the rightmost of the runbook that you want to update and then select Edit.
      Tip

      To find a runbook by name, enter its name in the Search field. You can also search by runbook type, whether it belongs to a product or product stack.
    3. In the Update runbook page that appears, start updating the values, tasks, and streamline (sequence of task execution).

  • Use the oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-runbooks runbook update command and required parameters to update a runbook:

    oci fleet-apps-management fleet-apps-management-runbooks runbook update [OPTIONS]
