Updating an Agent Tool in Generative AI Agents

  1. On the Agents list page, select the agent that has the Agent tool you want to update.
    If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Agents
  2. In the Tools list of the agent, select the name of the Agent tool.
    An Agent tool is identified by the type AGENT_TOOL_CONFIG.
  3. On the tool details page, select Edit.
  4. On the Edit tool panel, update the Agent tool configuration details as needed.

  5. Select Save changes.
  6. (Optional) On the tool details page, select the Add tags tab to add tags to this tool. After adding tags, select the Tags tab to view and manage the tool's defined and free-form tags.
