Chat with an agent that you have created in the Generative AI Agents service.
Before you start, ensure that you have an agent with an endpoint. See Creating an Agent in Generative AI Agents.

In the navigation bar of the Console, select a region that hosts Generative AI Agents, for example, US Midwest (Chicago). If
you don't know which region to select, see Regions with Generative AI Agents.

Open the navigation menu and select Analytics & AI. Under AI Services, select Generative AI Agents.

Under Generative AI Agents, select Chat.

For Agent compartment, select the compartment that contains the agent that you want to chat with.

For Agent endpoint compartment, select the compartment that contains the endpoint for the agent that you want to chat with.

Select an agent to chat with.

Select the endpoint for the agent.

Start a conversation by typing a message.

Select Submit.

To continue your chat conversation, enter a follow-up prompt and select Submit. To start a new conversation, select Reset Chat session.

If you enabled trace and citation for the selected endpoint, review the log section.
