Select or Create a Compartment

You create a Resource Analytics instance, its tenancy attachments, and other resources it provisions on your behalf, in a compartment you select and for which you have the necessary permissions to manage these resources.

For example, create a compartment called resource-analytics-compartment. For detailed instructions, see Creating Compartments (for older tenancies that don't support Identity Domains, see Creating Compartments).
