Moving a Compute Target Between Compartments

Move a compute (host) target into a different compartment.

1. On the Targets list page, select the recipe that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the target, see Listing the Compute Instances for a Target.
2. On the details page, select Move resource.
3. Choose the destination compartment.
4. Select Move resource.
Use the oci vulnerability-scanning host scan target change-compartment command and required parameters to move a compute (host) target into a different compartment:
oci vulnerability-scanning host scan target change-compartment [OPTIONS]

Run the ChangeHostScanTargetCompartment operation to delete the compute (host) target identified by the target ID.
