Vision Policy Quick Set Up

You can use a template to quickly set up Vision policies to control who has access to the service, and the type of access for each group of users.

The Vision template sets up policies to let users in a specified group access the Vision service. You can also configure the template to let these users access custom models and analyze content in batches.

Navigating to the Template

Follow these steps to select the Vision template.

The template must be applied in tenancy's home region.

  1. In the search bar at the top of the Console, enter Stacks.
  2. Under Services, select Stacks (Resource Manager).
  3. Select Create stack.
    The Create stack workflow opens.
  4. Select Template as the Terraform configuration origin.
  5. Select the Select template button.
  6. On the Service tab, select the checkbox for Vision.
  7. Select the Select template button.

Configuring the Template

Follow these steps to use the template configure the Vision policy om the Create stack workflow..

  1. Enter a name for the policy. Avoid using confidential information.
  2. (Optional) Enter a description to help you, or other users, find the policy.
  3. Select the compartment to create the policy in.
  4. Select Next.
  5. For Group name for security policies, enter the name of the group that you're giving permission to access Vision.
  6. For Root Policy Name, enter the name of the root policy. This is at the tenancy level.
  7. (Optional) If you want this group to create and access custom models, select Use custom models.
  8. (Optional) If you want this group to analyze images in batch, select Use batch analysis and then select a compartment in which the group has permission to store the batch analysis results.
  9. Select Next.
  10. Review the options that you selected, and then select Create.
    The policies are created to let the group access Vision.
