Editing a Group's Basic Details

Modify the name or description of a group in Autonomous Linux.

1. On the Groups list page, select the name of the group. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Groups.
2. On the group details page, select Edit.
3. Update the basic details for the group.
  
  Group name: Enter a name for the group. You change the name at any time. The name doesn't need to be unique, because an Oracle Cloud Identifier (OCID) uniquely identifies the group. Avoid entering confidential information.
  Description: (Optional) Enter a description for the group. Avoid entering confidential information.
4. Select Save changes.
Use the oci os-management-hub managed-instance-group update command and required parameters to update the basic details for a group.

oci os-management-hub managed-instance-group update --group-id ocid [OPTIONS]
