Setting Event Collection for a Group

Enable or disable event collection for an Autonomous Linux. When enabled the instance collects critical event data and sends it to the service.

    1. Open the navigation menu and select Observability & Management.
    2. Under Autonomous Linux, select Groups.
    3. Select the compartment that contains the group you're interested in.
    4. Select the name of the group.
    5. Click Edit next to Notification topic.
    6. Select the Compartment that contains the notification topic.
    7. Select the Notification topic.
    8. Click Save changes.

  • Use the oci os-management-hub managed-instance-group update command and required parameters to update the event collection settings of the group.

    oci os-management-hub managed-instance-group update --group-id ocid --autonomous-settings settings.json [OPTIONS]

  • Run the UpdateManagedInstanceGroup operation to edit the event collection settings for the group.
