Registering an Instance
A newly created Autonomous Linux instance automatically registers with the Autonomous Linux service using a service-provided registration profile. You can also choose your own profile when creating the instance.
Autonomous Linux uses the OS Management Hub plugin to manage updates and patches on instances. The instance must have the OS Management Hub Agent plugin enabled to register with the Autonomous Linux service. A newly created Autonomous Linux instance automatically has the OS Management Hub Agent plugin enabled.
The Oracle Cloud Agent plugin must be minimum version 1.40. Instances using platform images released before April 2024 have an older version of the plugin, but automatically update to the latest available version. There could be a registration delay of up to an hour for these instances. Either wait or manually upgrade the Oracle Cloud Agent to 1.40 or later.
