Moving a Metastore
Move a metastore from one compartment to another.

Before moving the metastore, review its usage in other services. The new compartment name must be available to the service accessing this metastore.
Before moving the metastore, review its usage in other services. The new compartment name must be available to the service accessing this metastore.
- On the Data Catalog service page, click Metastores.
- On the Metastores page, click the name of the metastore that you want to move.
- On the metastore details page, click Move resource.
- In the Move resource dialog box, select the new compartment and click Move resource.
Use the change-compartment command and required parameters to move the metastore to a different compartment.

Run the ChangeMetastoreCompartment operation to move the metastore to a different compartment.
