Manage SQL Endpoints

Delete, edit, start, and stop SQL Endpoints in Data Flow.

Deleting a SQL Endpoint

You can delete a Data Flow SQL endpoint in two ways.

From the SQL Endpoints list page, either:

  • Click the Actions menu next to the SQL endpoint you want to delete. From the list of actions, click Delete.
  • Click the name of the cluster you want to delete. On the resulting page, click More Actions, and from the list displayed, select Delete.

Editing a SQL Endpoint

Follow these steps to edit a SQL Endpoint in Data Flow.

  1. Open the navigation menu, and click Analytics and AI. Under Data Lake click Data Flow.
  2. In the left-side menu, click SQL endpoints.
    The list of SQL Endpoints is displayed.
  3. Two ways are available to select the SQL endpoint you want to edit:
    • Click the name of the SQL endpoint you want to edit. The SQL endpoint's details page is displayed.
    • Click the Actions menu next to the SQL endpoint you want to edit.
  4. Click Edit.
    The Edit SQL endpoint page is displayed.
  5. Make the changes and click Edit SQL endpoint.

Starting a SQL Endpoint

Follow these steps to start an inactive SQL Endpoint in Data Flow.

  1. Open the navigation menu, and click Analytics and AI. Under Data Lake click Data Flow.
  2. In the left-side menu, click SQL endpoints.
    The list of SQL Endpoints is displayed.
  3. Two ways are available to select the SQL endpoint you want to start:
    • Click the name of the SQL endpoint you want to start. The SQL endpoint's details page is displayed.
    • Click the Actions menu next to the SQL endpoint you want to start.
  4. Click Start.

Stopping a SQL Endpoint

Follow these steps to stop an active SQL Endpoint in Data Flow.

  1. Open the navigation menu, and click Analytics and AI. Under Data Lake click Data Flow.
  2. In the left-side menu, click SQL endpoints.
    The list of SQL Endpoints is displayed.
  3. Two ways are available to select the SQL endpoint you want to stop:
    • Click the name of the SQL endpoint you want to stop. The SQL endpoint's details page is displayed.
    • Click the Actions menu next to the SQL endpoint you want to stop.
  4. Click Stop.
    A Confirm dialog box is displayed.
  5. Click Stop.
