Cloud DB Infrastructure Performance
The Cloud DB infrastructure performance dashboard provides an overview of the health and resource utilization of an Oracle Cloud Database infrastructure resource over a specified time period.
You can use this dashboard to monitor the health of the following Oracle Cloud Database infrastructure resources:
- DB systems in the Base Database Service
- VM clusters in ExaDB-D and ExaDB-C@C
To access the Cloud DB infrastructure performance dashboard from the Managed database details page of the Oracle Cloud Database, click Dashboards and then click DB infrastructure performance.
In the Cloud DB infrastructure performance dashboard:
- Select a time period for which you want to display data in the widgets. By default, the widgets in the dashboard display performance data for the last 60 minutes, however, you can select a different time period in the upper-right corner of the dashboard.
- Review the options selected in the Compartment, Deployment type, and Database system/VM cluster fields above the widgets and make changes, if required. If these fields are not displayed, click the Open/close filter panel icon () to view them.
Here's the list of widgets displayed in the Cloud DB infrastructure performance dashboard and a brief description of each widget.
Widget | Description |
---|---|
Node status |
The status of the node, which indicates whether the host is reachable. |
OCPU allocation |
The number of OCPUs allocated. |
CPU utilization (%) |
The CPU utilization expressed as a percentage, aggregated across all consumer groups. The utilization percentage is reported with respect to the number of CPUs the database is allowed to use, which is two times the number of OCPUs. |
Load average |
The system load average over five minutes. |
Memory utilization (%) |
The percentage of memory available for starting new applications, without swapping. |
Swap utilization (%) |
The percentage of total swap space utilization. |
File System utilization (%) |
The percentage of provisioned file system utilization. |
ASM Disk Group utilization (%) |
The percentage of usable space used in a Disk Group. Usable space is the space available for growth. |
