404 timeout error
If this error is displayed when running the Management Agent installation script with the response file, here's the likely cause and what you can do to resolve the issue:
Cause: This issue may occur when a proxy server is configured to
communicate between the external host and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Additional networking investigation will have to be done to
update the response file with the correct ProxyHost
configuration.
Solution: Check connectivity between your external host and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using the following options:
-
Run a call from your external host to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region you're deploying the agent in, using the appropriate endpoint. For information on endpoints, see Management Agent API documentation.
-
Check HTTPS communication from the host on which the agent is to be deployed to allow outbound communication. For information on HTTPS communication checks, see Network Prerequisites.
When using a proxy server, update the ProxyHost
value in
the response file and retry the operation.
