View Connector Details
You can view the details of the connectors added to the External Database System components, check connection, and monitor associated work requests.
The information about the connector added to an External Database System component is displayed on the corresponding External connector details page.
To go to the External connector details page:
- Sign in to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
- Open the navigation menu, click Observability & Management. Under Database Management, click Administration.
- On the left pane, select the compartment in which you want to discover
the External Database System and select External in the
Deployment type drop-down list.
A list of registered External Databases in the compartment is displayed.
- Click the External Database System display name link in the
Database System column.
The Database System details page is displayed.
- Click the name of the connector in the <Component>
connection column.
The External connector details page is displayed.
On the External connector details page, you can:
- Click Check connection to run diagnostics on the connection.
- If viewing the connector details for an ASM connection, you can click
Edit and:
- Click Connection credentials to view and update the credentials specified to connect to ASM.
- Click Connection strings to update connection string information.
- Click Add tags to add tags to the connector. For information, see Working with Resource Tags.
- Click Delete to delete the connector, if it's not in use.
- View External connector information, which includes details such as the OCID of the connector, Agent ID, and connection information. In the External connector information section, you can click the compartment link to go to the Compartment details page.
- Click the Tags tab to add, view, edit, or remove tags. For information, see Working with Resource Tags.
- Monitor the work requests pertaining to the connector.
