Collecting database traces

For an Oracle migration job, you can enable trace collection.

The collected database trace files are stored in the selected object storage bucket.
Note

Ensure to run the Export initial load phase before using this option.
  1. In the list of migrations on the Migrations page, select the Collect database traces option from the Actions (three dots) menu for any migration job.
  2. In the Collect database traces panel, the following options are available:
    • Select the compartment and the bucket.
    • Enter the Database trace name prefix.
    • Select Collect database traces to collect the database trace files.
    • Select Cancel to cancel the task.
  3. Select the Download database migration log option to download the database trace files in .log format.
