Java Download Policy Statements

OCI administrators have complete access to the JMS Java Download service and can use it without creating any additional prerequisite resources or policies. However, if they want to delegate administrative tasks to user groups that do not belong to the Administrator group, they must set up the policy statements mentioned in this topic.

This section describes the different policy statements for Tokens and Reporting.

Prerequisite

Create a user group with a name such as JAVA_DOWNLOAD_ADMINS and add user accounts for those responsible for managing Tokens and Reports in JMS Java Download.

Token Management

The following policy statement allows the users of a usergroup to manage a token in a tenancy::
ALLOW GROUP JAVA_DOWNLOAD_ADMINS TO MANAGE java-download-tokens IN TENANCY

Reports Management

The following policy statement allows the users of a usergroup to manage Java Download reports:

ALLOW GROUP JAVA_DOWNLOAD_ADMINS TO MANAGE java-download-reports IN TENANCY

See Permissions Required for Each API to understand the permissions and privileges that will be granted to each user within this group.
