Attaching an Instance to a Group

Add an instance to a group in OS Management Hub so that it receives the same content as all other members of the group.

    1. On the Groups list page, select the name of the group. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Groups.
    2. Under Resources, select Group members.
    3. Select Attach instance.
    4. Select the compartment the instance resides in.
    5. Select one or more instances to add to the group, and then select Select instances to attach.
      Note

Available instances match the location, OS vendor, version, and architecture of the group. Offline instances and instances assigned to another group or lifecycle environment aren't listed.
    6. Repeat the preceding steps to select instances from other compartments.
    7. Review the instances that you selected. To remove instances, select them and select Remove instances from selection.
    8. Select Attach.
