Deleting a Profile

Delete a profile to remove it from OS Management Hub.

What happens to instances when I delete a profile?: Deleting a profile doesn't affect instances that used the profile to register. After an instance registers, the profile no longer has any effect on the instance. Deleting the profile doesn't delete or unregister the instance. However, after you delete the profile, the instance details will show "Registration profile: Not available".

1. On the Profiles list page, select the profiles to delete. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Profiles.
2. Select Delete.
3. Confirm the deletion.
Use the oci os-management-hub profile delete command and required parameters to delete a profile in OS Management Hub.

oci os-management-hub profile delete --profile-id ocid [OPTIONS]
