Moving a Management Station to Another Compartment

Move a management station to another compartment in OS Management Hub. Placing resources in a specific compartment can help restrict access.

Before you begin

Review compartment considerations for best practices when moving between compartments.
Navigate
Navigate to the Management stations list page.
In Applied filters, select the compartment that contains the management station.
Select the name of the management station.
Move resource
On the station details page, select Move resource.
Select the Destination compartment to move the station to.
Select Move resource.
Tip

You can also perform this action from the list page, using the row's Actions menu ().
Use the oci os-management-hub management-station change-compartment command and required parameters to move the management station to another compartment within the same tenancy.
