Viewing Advisory Details

Review the advisory details for bug fixes and security updates for an Oracle Linux instance in OS Management Hub.

Navigate
Navigate to the Instances list page.
Select the compartment.
Select the name of the instance.
Select Updates.
Select the Advisory identifier (such as ELSA-2025-1234).
Select the Advisory from the list.
View description

Select the Details tab to view the description of the advisory.
View affected packages and instances
Select the Packages tab.
Select the Affect instances tab to identify which instances are affected by the advisory. Specify a compartment in Applied filters.
Use the oci os-management-hub software-source get-erratum command and required parameters to get details about a software advisory.

oci os-management-hub software-source get-erratum --compartment-id ocid --name erratum-name [OPTIONS]
