Enhancements to Fleet Application Management

The latest release of Fleet Application Management introduces several enhancements designed to improve automation, flexibility, and visibility of your managed resources. The enhancements are as follows:

• Fleets with automatic updates for dynamically added resources: Fleets now automatically update in real time whenever you add new resources dynamically. When a new resource is created, updated, or deleted and it matches any of the specified dynamic fleet rules, it is automatically added and reflected across all relevant fleets. This feature eliminates the need for manual fleet composition management and an up-to-date, dynamically managed inventory of resources. • Unblocking workflows: Fleet Application Management now enables seamless resource validation and discovery across your fleet. If validation or discovery fails for any resources, those failures are logged and do not prevent subsequent workflows from continuing. For more information, see Fleet states.
• Fleet resource metrics: A fleet now reports a comprehensive set of metrics from underlying resources. This capability allows administrators to make data-driven decisions when managing workloads. For more information, see Getting a fleet's details.
• Recommended actions based on fleet insights: Within the Fleet Application Management listing interface, you can now see recommended actions. These contextual suggestions help streamline administration and ensure that you are aware of prerequisites and configuration issues that require attention. For more information, see Listing fleets.
• Segregation of deleted or active resources and targets: Fleet Application Management automatically detects and separates deleted resources, as well as targets not identified in subsequent discoveries. These items are in a separate view, which improves the ability to assess the current fleet topology and address any inconsistencies.
