The Google Vertex AI Platform for OCI Generative AI is now available with on-demand endpoints for the pretrained Gemini 2.5 Pro, Gemini 2.5 Flash, and Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite models in one or more of the following regions:

The Gemini 2.5 series are Google's multimodal thinking models, capable of reasoning through thinking before responding, designed to handle complex reasoning tasks, and offer increased performance by combining an enhanced base model with improved post-training.
