Oracle-Seeded Application Roles Protected from Modification

IAM identity domains now prevents administrators, including Identity Domain Administrators, from updating, replacing, or deleting Oracle-seeded application roles (AppRoles).

This protection helps prevent accidental or unsupported changes to roles required for identity domain functionality.

No customer action is required. Custom AppRoles and customer-created applications are unaffected.

To access Oracle Cloud Services in the Console, select Identity & Security > Domains > your identity domain > Oracle Cloud Services. For more information, see Managing Oracle Cloud Services.
