Instance Attribute Details

#defined_tagsHash<String, Hash<String, Object>>

Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags.

Example: {\"Operations\": {\"CostCenter\": \"42\"}}

Returns:

  • (Hash<String, Hash<String, Object>>)

17
18
19
# File 'lib/oci/core/models/update_vnic_details.rb', line 17

def defined_tags
  @defined_tags
end

#display_nameString

A user-friendly name. Does not have to be unique, and it's changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.

Returns:

  • (String)

23
24
25
# File 'lib/oci/core/models/update_vnic_details.rb', line 23

def display_name
  @display_name
end

#freeform_tagsHash<String, String>

Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair with no predefined name, type, or namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags.

Example: {\"Department\": \"Finance\"}

Returns:

  • (Hash<String, String>)

31
32
33
# File 'lib/oci/core/models/update_vnic_details.rb', line 31

def freeform_tags
  @freeform_tags
end

#hostname_labelString

The hostname for the VNIC's primary private IP. Used for DNS. The value is the hostname portion of the primary private IP's fully qualified domain name (FQDN) (for example, bminstance1 in FQDN bminstance1.subnet123.vcn1.oraclevcn.com). Must be unique across all VNICs in the subnet and comply with RFC 952 and RFC 1123. The value appears in the Vnic object and also the PrivateIp object returned by list_private_ips and get_private_ip.

For more information, see DNS in Your Virtual Cloud Network.

Returns:

  • (String)

57
58
59
# File 'lib/oci/core/models/update_vnic_details.rb', line 57

def hostname_label
  @hostname_label
end

#nsg_idsArray<String>

A list of the OCIDs of the network security groups (NSGs) to add the VNIC to. Setting this as an empty array removes the VNIC from all network security groups.

If the VNIC belongs to a VLAN as part of the Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (instead of belonging to a subnet), the value of the nsgIds attribute is ignored. Instead, the VNIC belongs to the NSGs that are associated with the VLAN itself. See Vlan.

For more information about NSGs, see NetworkSecurityGroup.

Returns:

  • (Array<String>)

70
71
72
# File 'lib/oci/core/models/update_vnic_details.rb', line 70

def nsg_ids
  @nsg_ids
end

#route_table_idString

The OCID of the route table the IP address or VNIC will use. For more information, see Per-resource Routing.

Returns:

  • (String)

89
90
91
# File 'lib/oci/core/models/update_vnic_details.rb', line 89

def route_table_id
  @route_table_id
end

#security_attributesHash<String, Hash<String, Object>>

Security attributes are labels for a resource that can be referenced in a Zero Trust Packet Routing (ZPR) policy to control access to ZPR-supported resources.

Example: {\"Oracle-DataSecurity-ZPR\": {\"MaxEgressCount\": {\"value\":\"42\",\"mode\":\"audit\"}}}

Returns:

  • (Hash<String, Hash<String, Object>>)

41
42
# File 'lib/oci/core/models/update_vnic_details.rb', line 40

def security_attributes
  @security_attributes
end

#skip_source_dest_checkBOOLEAN

Whether the source/destination check is disabled on the VNIC. Defaults to false, which means the check is performed. For information about why you would skip the source/destination check, see Using a Private IP as a Route Target.

If the VNIC belongs to a VLAN as part of the Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (instead of belonging to a subnet), the value of the skipSourceDestCheck attribute is ignored. This is because the source/destination check is always disabled for VNICs in a VLAN. Example: true

Returns:

  • (BOOLEAN)
