Tenancy Configuration Notes for OCI Functions
Find out more information and notes about how to configure your tenancy for function development with OCI Functions.
Before you can start using OCI Functions to create and deploy functions, you have to set up your tenancy for function development.
Use the Functions QuickStart Guides to get set up quickly.
When a tenancy is created, an Administrators group is automatically created for the tenancy. Users that are members of the Administrators group can perform any operation on resources in the tenancy. OCI Functions users are typically not members of the Administrators group, and do not have to be. However, a member of the Administrators group does need to perform a number of administrative tasks to enable users to use OCI Functions.
This section provides more information and notes about the tasks you perform using the Functions QuickStart Guides to configure your tenancy for OCI Functions.
When you have set up your tenancy for function development, you can go on to use the Functions QuickStart Guides to set up your client development environment.
