Access SQL Watch Summary
On obtaining the required permissions and completing the prerequisite tasks, you can use the Database Management SQL Watch Summary page as a launch pad to get started with SQL Watch.
To access the SQL Watch Summary page:
- Sign in to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
- Open the navigation menu, click Observability & Management. Under Database Management, click SQL Watch.
- On the left pane, select the compartment that contains the External Databases for which SQL Watch is enabled.
On the Summary page, you can perform the following SQL Watch tasks:
- Click the Enable link to go to the Administration Managed databases page where you can enable SQL Watch. For information, see Enable SQL Watch.
- View the total number of External Databases in the compartment and the number of External Databases for which SQL Watch is enabled on the SQL Watch enabled tile.
- View details of the latest saved SQL Performance Analyzer comparison reports for SQL Watch-enabled databases.
- View the list of SQL Watch-enabled databases along with information
such as the database type, version, and latest saved report. You can click the
Actions icon () for a database and perform the following tasks:
- View latest report: Click to go to the SQL Performance Analyzer report page and view the latest saved SQL Performance Analyzer comparison report.
- Manage saved reports: Click to go to the Reports page and view all the saved SQL Performance Analyzer comparison reports for the database.
