Assess the Performance of Your Databases at a Glance
You can monitor and assess the performance of your fleet of Oracle Databases in a compartment or Database Group on the Performance tile on the Oracle Database fleet summary page.
The performance data of your fleet can be viewed in an advanced Performance tree map. In this tree map, you can easily identify the Oracle Database that requires your attention on various dimensions such as DB time, CPU, and I/O.
The Performance tree map is a visual representation of the performance of the Oracle Databases in a compartment or Database Group for a selected database metric. The databases are displayed as a collection of rectangles in different sizes and colors, in which the size of a rectangle indicates the value of the selected metric and the color indicates the change percentage for the selected metric over the selected time period. The Performance tree map is especially useful if you have many databases in your fleet and you want to assess their performance at a glance.
To view the performance of your Oracle Databases for a selected metric on the Performance tree map:
The tree map is updated based on the selected metric and you can assess how each of your databases is faring. Above the tree map, the Search by display name field, metric usage and allocation information, and the number of Oracle Databases are displayed, and below the tree map, a legend that provides information on what the size and color of the rectangles denote for the selected metric, is displayed.
On the Performance tree map, click a rectangle denoting an Oracle Database or a RAC instance to go to the Managed database details page of that database.
