Enabling Exadata Systems and Cloud Service Databases
Ops Insights allows you to use the Capacity Planning and SQL Insights functionality to gain insight into Oracle Databases deployed in Oracle Cloud (Bare Metal, Virtual Machine VM, Exadata Cloud Service, and Exadata Database Service on Cloud@Customer).

Using Ops Insights on Oracle Cloud Databases, Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure, and Exadata Database Service on Cloud@Customer systems allows you to:
- Analyze resource usage of databases across cloud databases
- Forecast future demand for database resources such as CPU, memory, and storage based on historical trends
- Compare SQL performance across databases and identify common patterns
- Monitor ASM disk group usage.
- Analyze storage server (cell) I/O/Throughput.
The following Exadata systems can be enabled for Ops Insights:
- Enable an Exadata Cloud Service System and Cloud Service Database (via Private Endpoint)
- Enable an Exadata Database Service on Cloud@Customer System (via Management Agent)
- Enable an Exadata System Monitored by Enterprise Manager
