Rerunning a Failed Job

Rerun a failed job in OS Management Hub to attempt the job again.

  • Add Basic Details

    Provide the basic information for the rerun job:

    • Name: Enter a name for the job. The name doesn't need to be unique, because an Oracle Cloud Identifier (OCID) uniquely identifies the job. Avoid entering confidential information.

    • Description: (Optional) Enter a description for the job. Avoid entering confidential information.

    Schedule

    Select when to run the job:

    • Run immediately: Select this option to run the job now.
    • Schedule: Select this option to run the job at a future date and time. Select the calendar icon to select a date and time.

    Review and create job

    Review the details of the rerun job. Make any changes as needed, and then select Create.

    View the state of the rerun job in the Jobs details page.

  • Use the oci os-management-hub work-request rerun command and required parameters to rerun a failed job.

    oci os-management-hub work-request rerun --work-request-id ocid [OPTIONS]
