A new release for Database Management is now available!

You can now:

• Monitor the primary and standby databases that are a part of an Oracle Data Guard configuration, in Database Management. This feature set enables you to:
  • Monitor Data Guard-specific attributes and performance metrics.

  • Create alarms to be notified when Data Guard metrics meet specified triggers.

  • Monitor role transitions in the Data Guard configuration.

• Use Metric Extensions to create custom metrics to obtain a comprehensive view of the health and performance of Database Management-enabled External Databases. For more information, see Work with Metric Extensions.
