Network source restrictions for signing in to the Console
- Services: IAM
- Release Date: September 01, 2020
The IAM service now supports setting a network source restriction for signing in to the Console. A network source lets you specify a set of allowed IP addresses. When you specify a network source restriction in your tenancy's authentication settings, access to the Console is allowed only from the IP addresses specified in the network source. Users attempting to sign in from an IP address not on the allowed list will be denied access. You set up the the network source sign-in restriction in the Authentication Settings page. For more information, see Managing Authentication Settings.
