APM .Net agent version 1.4.0 is available with the following updates:
- This version is updated to use the OpenTelemetry .Net release 1.4.0. For information, see OpenTelemetry dotnet instrumentation.
- New enhancement includes:
- Abridged traces – eliminate cases of excessive span count per trace. For details, see Configure Abridged Traces.
- DisplayName and AppserverName dimensions are now collected out of the box, improving reporting in polyglot environments. For details, see About Trace and Span Attributes.
