Certificates in PEM format is Supported in Database Tools

Database Tools now supports PEM-format certificates to provide information about the Oracle Database wallet. You can now create connections using a PEM key store (wallet) for Oracle Database. This provides greater flexibility in key management and supports additional enterprise security requirements. See Creating a connection.
