Listing the Availability Catalog

List the latest catalog with the resources available for a specific namespace in OCI Control Center.

Oracle periodically publishes a catalog that lists all the available resources and their capacity that can be delivered within a specific time frame. The catalog ensures you to order only resources that are only ready for deployment which reduces uncertainty and improves planning.

Currently, the catalog is available only for the Compute namespace.

1. On the Capacity Requests list page, select Create capacity request. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Capacity Requests.
2. On the Create Capacity Request page, you can view the latest cataloga published by Oracle.
3. Go the catalog section and select the resources that you want to order and enter the demand quantity for each resource.

  Ensure the resource quantity doesn't exceed the available quantity and total demand quantity doesn't exceed the capacity constraint.
4. Select Create and Submit.

Use the oci capacity-management occ-availability-catalog-collection list command and required parameters to list all the availability catalogs.
