Managing Data Sources for Generative AI Agents
A data source points to the source of data. After you add a data source to a knowledge base, you must ingest the data source's data, so agents using the knowledge base can reach that data.
In Generative AI Agents service, by data source, we mean the service-manged OCI Object Storage files where you can have up to 1,000 text and PDF files of 100 MB each.
The following Bring Your Own (BYO) data types are not considered as data sources that you manage through the Generative AI Agents service.
- Oracle Database 23ai vector search
- OCI Search with OpenSearch ingested and indexed data
