Deleting a Data Source in Generative AI Agents

If you delete a data source all the data that's ingested through that data source is removed from its knowledge base.

Note

You can always delete data sources that are used by agents. While the agent continues to run, it no longer answers questions related to the sources that you deleted. The delete action permanently deletes the data source. This action can't be undone.
  1. On the Knowledge Bases list page, select the knowledge base that you want to delete its data source.
    If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Knowledge Bases.
  2. Click the name of the data source that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Type the name of the data source to delete.
  5. Click Delete.
