Verify a Disaster Recovery Plan

You must verify a Disaster Recovery (DR) plan after refreshing an existing plan. If you perform multiple refreshes, ensure to verify the plan with every refresh.

  1. Navigate to the Resource page for the DR protection group.
  2. Click the Plans link in the Resources panel to list the DR plans for the DR protection group.
  3. In the DR plan details page, click the Verify option to open the Verify plan dialog.
  4. Confirm that the refreshed plan is accurate. Check that the modified groups are correct and in the appropriate order.
  5. Select Verify to verify the plan.
  6. Click Cancel to cancel the verification of the DR plan.
    Note

    During the plan verification, ensure that the order of plan groups is correct and matches the Default Order of DR Plan Groups. Also, ensure that the updated plan groups and steps match your current DR topology.
    Note

    In certain situations, plan refresh may not add, delete, or modify any plan groups and steps. However, you must still complete the plan verification process.
