Viewing HeatWave Cluster Information

The HeatWave cluster information give details about a HeatWave cluster and its nodes. The HeatWave cluster state shows that a HeatWave cluster active or not.

Using the Console

Use the Console to check the HeatWave cluster information.

  1. Open the navigation menu and select Databases. Under HeatWave MySQL, click DB Systems.
  2. Choose your compartment from the List scope.
  3. In the HeatWave cluster filter, select Attached to filter the DB systems that have a HeatWave cluster attached.
  4. In the list of DB systems, find your DB system, and check the icon in the HeatWave cluster state column. The color of the icon and the associated text indicate the status of the HeatWave cluster. See HeatWave Cluster States.
  5. Click the name of the DB system to open the DB system details page. Select HeatWave cluster from the Resources list, and view the HeatWave node cluster information. See Resource: HeatWave cluster.

HeatWave Cluster States

Check the HeatWave cluster state column to view the state of the HeatWave cluster.

HeatWave cluster state Description
Failed An error condition prevented the creation or continued operation of the HeatWave cluster.
Creating HeatWave is reserving resources, booting, and creating the HeatWave cluster. Provisioning can take several minutes. You cannot use the cluster yet.
Deleting The HeatWave cluster is being deleted by the terminate action in the Console or API.
Inactive The HeatWave cluster is powered off by the stop or reboot action in the Console or API, or on rare occasions when there is a failure.
Updating The HeatWave cluster is starting, stopping, restarting, or updating.
Active The HeatWave cluster is successfully created.
