Listing Packages Available to an Instance

Lists all packages that are available for installation on an Oracle Linux instance in OS Management Hub. The package name, version, and architecture is listed for each available package.

Packages provided by third-party or private software sources aren't listed in the available packages list. To install packages, you must add the packages by name.

1. On the Instances list page, select the name of the instance. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Instances.
2. Under Resources, select Packages and then select the Available packages tab.

  Use the search box to find a specific package.
  
  Can't find a package? You might need to attach a software source. If you're unsure of which software source you need, search for the package within the service.
Use the oci os-management-hub managed-instance list-available-packages command and required parameters to get a list of available packages on a managed instance.
